First Impressions
Before our first training session in March 2017, only one of our nineteen student photographers had ever held a DSLR camera.
Now, after their initial professional training and with only four donated cameras, over 9,000 photographs have been taken by our Land and Lens participants. Almost daily, these students have been documenting their land and lives. And each photo isn’t just an image for our photographers, it is an experience.
Talent Brought to Light
We are amazed with what the photographers are achieving. A remarkable amount of talent has been brought to light, and a variety of regional issues near Chamarajnagar and Sirsi have been documented.
“Just as a poet sees things differently, I think photography sees and presents things in a beautiful way.’
