With a masters degree in botany, Muthu has previously worked as a school headmaster. He is currently a field coordinator at Punarchith and an enthusiastic student of sustainable agricultural practices. He draws on photographs to not only document the work that Punarchith conducts, but to also reflect and comment on his surroundings.

ಸಸ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮುತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನುಭವವಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪುನರ್ಚಿತ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೃಷಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳ ಹುಮ್ಮಸ್ಸಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕೂಡ. ಮುತ್ತು ಅವರ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಕೆಲಸ ಪುನರ್ಚೀತ್ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವುದು.
