Land and Lens was honoured to present at the 2019 Bahuroopi Theater Festival. Many of our student artists were able to meet the public—and their photos inspired thoughtful and lively discussions at this very well-attended exhibition.
Thank you Rangayana, our many tireless volunteers, and the good people of Mysuru. We’ll all remember this occasion fondly for a good time to come.
Art and people and products and seeds—at the Land and Lens exhibition in Bengaluru. The student artists inaugurate their work in print, seed saver Phaniveni Hegde Jadimane’s ‘kannu’ becomes a focal point, and an experiment becomes an experience.
Land and Lens gives our special thanks to Manjunath Bonthala at Prnt Gallery in Jayanagar. Your time and care with photo editing and printing was an amazing process to experience. We look forward to displaying your craft at our upcoming April exhibition in Bengaluru.
For anyone looking, a soft announcement of our upcoming photo exhibition in Bangalore. Here’s our curator Suresh meeting with our photo framers in Sirsi.
Stay tuned for more news about this Land and Lens event!

Today is the big day for the youth photographers at Punarchith. Guests have been invited, singing performances have been rehearsed, the programme is set, and a video/slideshow featuring the work of 15 students is ready to view.

It all happened at Malnad Mela Sirsi, June 21st, 2017. Slideshows, speeches, press interviews, print coverage, proud husbands, daughters and sons—and our newly-trained photographers capturing the event itself. Thank you Sirsi press, volunteers, Vanastree, and Punarchith.
